Cairo-Durham Mustangs   

2025 Sectional Place: did not run-Class C

Projected Varsity: Jacob Hall-Jr.m Jano Guiragossian-Fr.

Key Losses: Kingston Czakowski, Nathaniel Porter 1,2

Team Outlook: Hull is the only returning eunner of the two they have on tosyer. Will have to focus on rebuilding.

Catskill Cats   

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete-Class C

Projected Varsity: Justus Davies-Sr., Adrian Lozano-Jr., Aaron Cousens-Jr., Chase Ferguson-Fr., Jason Pinder-So.

Key Losses: Aiden Krakenberg

Team Outlook: Lose their number two runner from last year. Currently have five on the roster. Davies is their top runner and was in the mid 19's last year. Their other two returning runners were both over 27 minutes so they'll need their two new runners to help them move up in the league.

Chatham Panthers    

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete-Class D

Projected Varsity: George Eutzy-Sr., Pax Cooper-Sr., Nathan Hatcher-Jr., Landen Yerpening-Jr.

Key Losses: Tyler Gebel

Team Outlook: Lose theit number two runner from last year. Eutzy returns as their top runner and was in the mis 17's last year. Big drop off as Cooper was in the high 22's and Hatcher over 26 minutes. Currently have four runners on their roster so should have a complete team in the league but will need to see some improvement. Eutzy is onw of the top runners in the league and will help.

Coxsackie-Athens River Hawks    

2025 Sectional Place: 14th place-Class C

Projected Varsity: Thaddeus Malia-Jr., Brody Robinson-Jr., Avery Saxton-Jr., Robert Pautz-Jr., Jackson Spence-Fr., Keagan Tepper-8th

Key Losses: Rhoderick Herdmann, Matthias Mallia 1,4

Team Outlook: Return three out of six from last year. Mallia comes in as the top returner and was in the mid 20's last year. Robinson and Saxton are the other returning runners and were in the low 23's. Hopefully, their new, young runners and cut into the gap that they have between Mallia and the rest of the team.

Greenville Spartans    

2025 Sectional Place: 3rd place-Class C

Projected Varsity: Clarence Corcoran-Sr., Cowin Wilber-Sr., Jakob Ford-Sr., Antonio Lorenzo-Fr., Aaron Ross-Sr., Alex Buquet-Sr., Brady Caro-Jr., Hunter Conroy-Sr., Christopher Lucci-Sr., Liam McElwey-So.

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: Should return everyone from last year's league champions. Corcoran, Wilbur, and Ford return as their top three and have three out of the top four returning times in the league with all three in the low to mid 17 minute range. About a two minute gap after that with Ross and Buqyet in the mid to high 19's. Lorenzo comes in the cut that gap which should give them a solid boost to defend their title over Maple Hill.

Hawthorne Valley    

2025 Sectional Place: 7th okace-Class D

Projected Varsity:  Alexander Beck-Sr., Thomas Madey-Sr., Cass Masri-Sr., Brian Patterson-Sr., Theo Bergquist-Sr.,

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: Should return everyone from last year. Beck returns aas their top runner and was in the mid 18's last year. Madey is their number two and was in the mid 19's. Their thirs and fourth runner, Masei and Patterson are more than aminute behind in the high 20 minute range. They will want to see the gap between their top two and rest of the team to close. With a bunch of new freshmen on the team, they could have a couple of them step into the top five for the team to help them move up in the league.

Hudson Bluehawks

2025 Sectional Place: did not run-Class C

Projected Varsity: Guy Scoffler-So., Elias Lytle-So., Jameson Race-Fr.

Key Losses: John Rivera, Guy Scoffler

Team Outlook: The two runners they had last year are not on their roster this year so they will rely on three new runners on their team.  Hopefully, this is the first step on rebuilding the team.

Hunter Tannersville Wildcats

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete-Class D (Section 4)

Projected Varsity: Blake Ferrari-Fr., Gideon Glennon-Jr., Zachary Huettler-Luevan-Fr.

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: return their two runners from last year and add a thirs but will still be incomplete. Will have to improve their numbers.

Maple Hill Wildcats   

2025 Sectional Place: 1st place-Class D

Projected Varsity: Max Tadjbakhsh-Sr.,  Jonah Leonidas-Sr., Jack Willette-Jr.,, Drew Hirschoff-Jr., Kyle Bivins-Sr., Owen Mattiske-Sr., Nick VanVliet-Fr., Paul Leimonas-Sr., Isaias Wilson Leedy-Sr., Marsgall VanVliet-fr.

Key Losses: Liam Connelly, Allan Hoyt1,6

Team Outlook: Lose their top runner from last year but return five out of seven. Tadjbakhsh joins the taem after an impressive outdoor track season with a 4:27 1600m butis splitting time with soccer so he will not always be available. Leonidas and Willette are their next two runners with both in the high 17's last year. Hirschoff is their next runner and was in the mid 18's. Bicins comes in next in the low 19's. Need the gap to close between Hirchott and the rest of the team if they want to challenge Greenville for the league title. It will also be dependent on Tadjbakhsh's availability.

Rensselaer Rams    

2025 Sectional Place: none-Class C

Projected Varsity: Jack Zion-So., N Zulu Rain-So., Lin Lat Kyaw-Fr., Mi'Kai Carter-Jr., Brentley Lee-Jr., Wayne Gyi-Jr., Sitt Hmue-Jr.

Key Losses: George Krause 1

Team Outlook: Return three from last year. Al three were over 24 minutes last year. Will have some new runners on the team that will hopefully help them move up in the league.

Taconic Hills Titans

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete- Class C

Projected Varsity: Adrien Dalton-Jr. Aspen Stern-So., Jorge Acevedo-Fr.

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: Dalston is their only returning runner from last year and was in the high 22's last year. With three runners on their roster they will need to focus on rebuilding.

Watervliet Cannoneers

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete- Class C

Projected Varsity: Anthony Morelli-Sr., Daniel Montanez-Vargas-Sr., Lucien Lee-Fr.

Key Losses: Kyon Spingsteen, Matthew McBain

Team Outlook: Return two from last year. Morelli returns as their top runner and was in the mid 19's last year. Montanez-Vrgas is their other returning runner and was in the mid 23's last year. With three runners on their roster they will need to focus on rebuilding.

Windham-Ashland-Jewett Warriors    

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete-Class D (Section 4)

Team Outlook: Had three runners last year but none of them are on the roster this year so they will need to focus on recruiting and building up the program.

 Catskill Cats   

2025 Sectional Place: no team-Class C

Projected Varsity: Hannah Story-Fr., Yasin Quaadir-Fr., Madeline Kelly-So., Kaelyn Hibbert-Fr., Alexandra Hazelton-So.

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: Story was their only runner last year and returns and was in the mid 24's last year. Added four new runners this year so should have a complete team but a question mark on where they will be in the league..

Chatham Panthers    

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete-Class D

Projected Varsity: Madeline Waring-So.

Key Losses: Mira Pierce, Lily Hall

Team Outlook: Waeing is their only runner on the roster but she is the defending league champion running in the mid 19's last year. Team will need to rebuild their numbers.

Coxsackie-Athens River Hawks    

2025 Sectional Place:7th place-Class C

Projected Varsity: Emma Roberg-Sr., Lillianna Collins-8th, Madelyn Lackie-Jr.

Key Losses: Claire Hubert, Baileigh Briski

Team Outlook: Lose two out of their five from last year and only have those three on their current roster. Roberg takes over the top spot for their team and was in the mid 20's  last year. Collins is their number two ans was in the high 23's with Lackie in the low 25's. Will need to find one more runner to give them a full team in the league.

Greenville Spartans    

2025 Sectional Place: 9th place-Class C

Projected Varsity: Charlotte Dawson-Sr., Skyler Ryder-Jr., Hannah Cummings-Jr., Juliet Gulisane-Jr., Helen Corcoran-Fr., Kendall Rochler-Fr., Skyler Scholl-Fr.

Key Losses: Evelyn Corcoran. Daniella Ahrberg 1,4

Team Outlook: Lose two out of their top five from last year including their top runner and only return three, but bring in a bumch of new freshmen. Dawson Steps into the top spot and was in the low 22's last year. Ryder is their number two adn was in the mid 23's and Cummings was a bout a minute behind her. Will have a tough time matching up with Maple Hill for the league title and will need some of the newer runners to step into the top four if it's going to happen.

Hawthorne Valley    

2025 Sectional Place: no team-Class D

Projected Varsity: Lulu Saunders-Jr.

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: Saunders id their only runner from last yearr so they will need to focus on recruiting and building up the program.

Hudson Bluehawks

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete-Class C

Projected Varsity: Emma Schmitt-So., Alayvah Ware-8th

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: Didn't have any runners last year but added three this year but will still need to focus on their number to build the program.

Hunter Tannersville Wildcats

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete-Class D (Section 4)

Projected Varsity: Grace VanDeen-Sr., Summer Young-Sr., Miranda Bates-So., Laila Monson-Fr.

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: Had two runners from last year and add a couple of more to possibly give them a full team. Don't have much information since they're an out of section team.

Maple Hill Wildcats    

2025 Sectional Place: 1st place-Class D

Projected Varsity: Addison Reutzel-8th., Aubrey Spar-7th, Gracelynn Ashby-So., Rosilee Forrest-Sr.,  Arianna Simmons-So., Halle Feldman-So., Amalya LaPlante-So., Emma Kullman-So., Francesca Pusateri-Sr., Alex Eaton-Sr.,

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: Return everyone from last year's league champion and add some more runners on top of that. Reutzel and Forrest return with the top two times last year with both in the mid 21's last year. 7th grader Spar cmoes in and could take over the top spot to help their dept. Team returns four out of the top seven times in the league from last year and are big favorites to defend their league title and also their sectional title.

Rensselaer Rams    

2025 Sectional Place: no team-Class C

Projected Varsity: Savannah Hay-Jr., Susan Moekyaw-Sr., Briana Pillow-Sr., Madeline Preston-8th

Key Losses: none

Team Outlook: No runners last year but have four on the roster this year which would give them eough for a full team in the league. Tough to say how they will do in the league since they are all new runners so we'll have to see.

Taconic Hills Titans

2025 Sectional Place: incomplete-Class C

Projected Varsity: Mackenzie Vigue-Jr., Samantha Kilmer-Sr.

Key Losses: Maia Hamann, Sophia Zacarolli 2,3

Team Outlook: Only had three runners last year and only return Vignue who was in the mid 24 minute range last year. With only two runners on the roster they will need to focus on rebuilding the program.

Watervliet Cannoneers
