Note: Projections are almost entirely based on best times, or adjusted, on the Saratoga State Park and Queensbury Courses. I have no knowledge of any runners that may be out due to injuries or sickness so assume that every team is at full strength.

Boys Class A

What to Look For: Saratoga Springs has been the top team all season in Section 2 and is the favorite to repeat as Class A Championsbut Guilderland came close last weekend at Suburbans only losing by four points so it should be closer than what the projection shows. Individually Saratoga's Thomas Isenovski has the top time coming in and won Suburban s last week and that should make him the favorite. It will not be easy as the Guilderland duo of William Smitas and Aaksh Iyer and Niskayuna's Nicholas Thomas have the ability to take the win.

Boys Class B

What to Look For: Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake has the top three runners coming in and are the favorite to win their tenth straight sectional championship. With the top three and five in the top twenty Burnt Hills should have a big enough cushion to win it again. C.B.A. and Queensbury should battle it out for the runner-up spot. It should be a close one between the two teams. Individually, Burnt Hills' Matt Windecker is the defending champion and is the favorite to repeat. Teammates Cayden Robleno and Ben Smith shouldn't be too far behind but they all should have their eye on Queensbury's Liam Davidson as he has had a strong season and is running on his home course.

Boys Class C

What to Look For: Fonda-Fultonville is the three-time champions and is a strong favorite for their fourth title as they have the better depth over Schalmont and Ichabod Crane. Schalmont looks to have the front running to beat out Ichabod Crane, with Schuylerville and Broadalbin-Perth challenging for the third spot. Individually, Schalmont's Carter Flowers was the runner-up last year and comes in with the best time. Schuylerville's James Lynch looks to be the only one to challenge Flowers but Voorheesville's Mason Curl and Fonda-Fultonville's Ty Sanges and Matheu Dettenreider should fight it out for a top three spot.

Boys Class D

What to Look For: Lake George is the defending champion and looks like they have the depth to beat out Maple Hill and repeat as champions. Maple Hill is pretty equal through three runners but Lake George does a good job at packing in the rest of their top five ahead of Maple Hill. Stillwater, Berlin/New Lebanon and Berne-Knox-Westerlo should battle it out for the third spot. Individually, Stillwater's Anthony Zazzaro is about as close as a lock as we're going to see on Saturday as he is almost a minute ahead of Warrensburg/Bolton's Brody Olden, who looks like a solid second in the race with Maple Hill's Kaeden Leonidas in for third place.
