Note: As I say every year, this is just a projection. It's pretty much everyone's best Saratoga State Park times and some adjustments where I felt it was needed. I have no knowledge of runners that are out injured so I included just about everyone that has run but I have left out some runners that have been out for multiple weeks. Course should be muddy so it could affect times.

Girls Class A - 1:00pm

What to looks for: Saratoga Springs has been strong all season and won big last week at Suburbans so they will be a big favorite to defend their title. Shenendehowa and Shaker look to battle for second. Shaker beat them last weel at Suburbans but Shen wasn't at full strength. Four time champion Kelsey Chmiel is now killing it at NC State but Ella Kurto and filled the role just fine and is favored to win. Shenendehowa's Jada and Jade Dennis and Ballston Spa's Faith DeMars should battle it our for second.

What to looks for: It's another close Burnt Hills-Mohonasen battle for the "B" title. Burnt Hills looks to have the depth to take their sixth straight section title. Individually, looks to be another battle between Burnt Hills and Mohonasen, this time between Mohonasen's Kate Sherman and Burnt Hills' Emily Berg. Sherman is only three second ahead so it should be a tight battle. Burnt Hills' Jamisen Vendetti (who didn't run at Suburbans) and Scotia-Glenville Stephanie James shouldn't be that far behind.

What to looks for: Greenwich has six of the top nine spots and should easily defend their sectional title. Second is a tight battle between up to six different teams with Ichabod Crane, Cobleskill-Richmondville, and Broadalbin-Perth the favorites but a few other teams could jump in. Individually, Greenwich's Brynne Wright is going for her fifth straight sectional title and is the favorite to repeat but teammate Nina Sgambelluri and Greenville's Tess Fitzmaurice are only a few seconds behind her and could the spoilers to this rare feat.

Girls Class D - 2:30pm

What to looks for: Berlin has been Class D runner-up on six occasions. Could this be the year that they finally get the title that has been eluding them? They are the early favorite to do it but like I said with the boys, there is a lot uncertainly in Class D since some teams don't run the Saratoga course before sectionals. Mayfield, Berne-Knox-Westerlo, and Lake George should all challenge Berlin for the title. Individually, Hoosic Valley's Lily Czub comes in with the top time but defending champion Madison Relyea of Mayfield has been getting back into shape and has a good chance at repeating.
