Note: As I say every year, this is just a projection. It's pretty much everyone's best Saratoga State Park times and some adjustments where I felt it was needed. I have no knowledge of runners that are out injured so I included just about everyone that has run but I have left out some runners that have been out for multiple weeks. Course should be muddy so it could affect times.

Boys: Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D

Boys Class A - 11:00am

What to Look For: Looks to be a two team race between Guilderland and defending champion Shenendehowa. It's going to be Guilderland's front running against Shenendehowa's depth. Guilderland edged Shen out last week at Suburbans by four points so it should be another close one. If Guilderland wins it will be their first sectional title since 1993. Individually should be a three man race between Niskayuna's Thomas Ragone and Guilderland's Sean O'Brien and Micah Tindale with Ragone coming in with the fastest time at Saratoga. Quite a few runners in the mid 15:30 range and one of them could break out with a big race to take it.

What to Look For: Burnt Hills has the top six times coming in (though Metacarpa didn't run at Suburbans) so they will be a big favorite for their seventh straight sectional title. Individually, Burnt Hills' Ryan Allison has been impressive this season and should take the title over his teammates.

Boys Class C -12:00pm

What to Look For: This should be the biggest team race of the day as any one of four teams could take it between Ichabod Crane, Fonda-Fultonville, Greenville, and defending champion LaSalle. Greenville and Fonda-Fultonville were both impressive winning their league championships and LaSalle edged out Ichabod Crane for third place at the Colonial Council Championships. This most likely come down to each teams 3rd through 5th runners. Individually, LaSalle's Gitch Hayes was sharp in winning Colonial Council's last week and is about a minute ahead of everyone else. Fonda-Fultonville's Shane Viscosi should get second.

Boys Class D - 12:30pm

What to Look For: Lake George is looking for their first sectional title since 2005 and are the favorite to win it. I always have problems predicting Class D because many teams don't run the Saratoga course before Sectionals so trying to fit those runners in takes some guesswork. and I believe any of the first five teams could win it all. Individually, Duanesburg's Andrew Drescher was the runner-up last year and is the only runner to break 16 minutes this season. Maple Hill's Noah Albanese and Galway's Holden Decker look to battle it our for second.
