Boys Class A - 2:30pm

Saratoga Springs has been the favorite all season and haven't done anything to disprove that. With their top four in the top ten they look to be a big favorite for their first sectional title since 2005. Bethlehem and Shenendehowa should battle for second with Shaker and Colonie having a chance to crack the top three.

Albany High's Philo Germano looks like the favorite for the individual title. He has an eight second advantage on Shenendehowa's Dan Janeczko and has looked strong all season. If Germano wins he'll be the first Big 10 runner to win Class A's since C.B.A.'s Kerry Boyle in 1984.

Boys Class B - 1:00pm

Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons has been the #1 ranked Class B team in the state for four weeks and is the favorite to take the school's first sectional title in 1982. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake has won the last four sectional titles and are not about to give up the title that easily.  Gibbons isn't that deep so one bad race from their top five could make this a tight race.

Averill Park's Andrew Tario ran an impressive 15:21 last week on his way to the Suburban Council championship and is the favorite coming in. He would be the first Averill Park runner to win a sectional title since Joel Frost-Tift in 2005. His challenge should come from the top three runners from Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons, Jordan Pantalone, Jason Lange, and Matt Lange.

Boys Class C - 1:30pm

Fonda-Fultonville looks like a big favorite to win their fourth straight Class C title with Maple Hill and Schuylerville looking to battle it out for second place. Fonda-Fultonville is currently the third ranked team in the state in Class C and have much better depth than the rest of their opponents with their top five all in the top 20.

Individually, Fonda-Fultonville's Matt Hoffman is a big favorite to take the title. His 15:29 is almost twenty seconds ahead of the pack. He would be the first champion from Fonda-Fultonville since Jeremy McAllister in 2006. League rivals Jordan Healy of Maple Hill and Ross Wightman of Chatham look to battle for the second place spot with Schuylerville's Matt Watson looking to crack the top three.

Boys Class D - 2:00pm

Greenwich is young but looks to have enough depth to win their first boys sectional title since 1997. Mekeel Christian has a solid top three but their fourth and fifth runners need to step up if they want to challenge for the title. Duanesburg is much improved this year and are looking to be the darkhorse with Berlin not that far behind.

Individually, Mayfield's Tom McClellan has been undefeated this season and has an impressive 15:30 on the Saratoga course. He should have a huge challenge from Greenwich's Jeremy Spezio who is capable of breaking out a big time. Mekeel Christian's Jacob Urys always seems to pop up during sectional time and should have an eye kept on him.
